Since officially rebranding himself from NLE Choppa to NLE The Great, the Memphis rapper has been making it clear that he’s entering a new chapter, and he’s doing so with no fear or filter. On Friday, he surprised fans by unleashing a fiery diss record titled 'KO', a track that immediately caught everyone’s attention for both its sound and its visuals.

Musically, 'KO' channels the energy of classic diss tracks like Tupac’s 'Hit ’Em Up', with an aggressive tone and unapologetic delivery. Lyrically, NLE holds nothing back, taking direct shots and asserting his dominance in the rap game. The accompanying music video pushes things even further - filled with cinematic elements, choreography that nods to Michael Jackson, and some shock visuals that have sparked major online debate, including a scene where he’s shown holding a symbolic representation of NBA YoungBoy’s head.
The diss has sent shockwaves through social media, with fans and critics alike reacting to NLE’s fearless approach. Many are now waiting to see whether YoungBoy, who’s currently on tour, will issue a response.
