Nippa continues his rise with ‘Homegrown’

Tottenham-raised artist Nippa returns with 'Homegrown', a nine-track EP that continues a strong run of releases while giving further insight into the direction of his sound.

The project arrives after an active 2026 for Nippa, who has continued to build momentum through a series of singles and collaborations. Among them is 'Kacey' featuring Jordan Ward, while the title track 'Homegrown' saw him connect with US R&B artist Blxst - another step towards introducing his music to a wider American audience.

Across the nine tracks, Nippa moves comfortably between smooth R&B melodies, charismatic rap performances and more upbeat, dance-driven moments. That versatility has become an important part of his appeal, allowing him to move between different sounds without losing the identity that runs through his music.

'Homegrown' also marks the second consecutive nine-track project from Nippa, highlighting a consistency that has become increasingly evident throughout his recent run. Rather than relying on one particular sound, he continues to explore different sides of his artistry while keeping the songwriting and melodies at the centre.

The project's title feels particularly fitting given Nippa's connection to Tottenham. To coincide with its release, the artist has been honoured with his own mural, positioned alongside a mural of Tottenham Hotspur icon, Harry Kane.

From his music to the visual representation of where he comes from, 'Homegrown' feels closely tied to Nippa's identity. The EP builds on the foundations he has established while continuing to open the door to new audiences, reinforcing his position as an artist with plenty more to explore.
