Nino Uptown is keeping his foot on the gas. Fresh off a standout performance at SXSW and recent shows across Japan, the genre-blurring UK artist takes things international once again with 'Need For Speed' - a sharp, introspective new single paired with cinematic visuals straight from the streets of Tokyo.

Known for carving out his own lane in the UK’s rap underground, Nino has built a loyal fanbase by doing things differently, and 'Need For Speed' is no exception. Floating over slick, atmospheric production from GRN, Eight8 and KHVN, he delivers a stream of conscious-style flow that captures moments of isolation, internal pressure, and quiet determination.

The track’s accompanying visual, shot in just three days by director Harry Tatem, mirrors that energy perfectly. Set against the neon-soaked backdrop of Tokyo, the video follows Nino navigating the city’s fast pace with a calm detachment, giving fans a glimpse into both his mindset and movement.

It’s another strong release from an artist who continues to build momentum on his own terms, and with more music teased for later this year, 'Need For Speed' is just a checkpoint, not the final destination.
