West Midlands-raised talent nineteen97 is back with fresh music, unveiling his 5-track EP 'CUDDABEENA*'. In just under five years, nineteen97 has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with across the UK scene.

He first burst onto the scene with the disruptive debut single 'I Got', alongside Mayhem NODB and Jesse James Solomon, immediately marking himself as a forward-thinking artist unafraid to push the boundaries of conventional rap. Over the past five years, he’s built a cult-like following with Local Boyz, collaborated with Mike Skinner and The Streets, launched clothing collections, and shutdown headline events across the country – most recently Clints Fest in Manchester.

nineteen97 - CUDDABEENA*

'CUDDABEENA*' raises the bar once again, featuring standout tracks like '8quid' and 'certain people', alongside new music with fellow West Midlands rising stars Ella More and Katus Myles. In a recent social post, nineteen97 described the EP as “an end of an era,” adding, “I have no more music left and I’m not fully sure if I have any intent of making more for a while. I’m not faking a retirement, I just need to figure out what I want to do next.” Once again, nineteen97 demonstrates a refreshing, organic approach to creativity that the UK scene needs more of.

If this is indeed his final body of work for the time being, 'CUDDABEENA*' is a fitting encapsulation of everything he stands for - unapologetic, innovative, and authentically himself.
