One of the UK's most innovative musical forces, Nia Archives, has joined forces with acclaimed singer Jorja Smith for her latest single ‘Get Me Down’, the fourth release from her forthcoming album ‘Emotional Junglist’, due for release on July 17th.
A collaboration many fans will have been hoping for, ‘Get Me Down’ stays true to the world Nia Archives has carefully crafted over recent years. Built around thunderous jungle breakbeats, deep basslines and immersive production, the track balances raw rave energy with atmospheric melodies, while Jorja Smith's unmistakable vocals add a soulful, ethereal dimension that perfectly complements Nia's signature sound.
Firmly rooted in classic jungle influences while feeling undeniably modern, the record is another reminder of why Nia continues to lead the genre's new wave, pushing it into fresh spaces without losing sight of its foundations.
Accompanying the release is a striking music video directed by Nia herself alongside longtime collaborator Jay Douglas. Set inside a futuristic, silver-toned club environment, the visual captures the pair performing and dancing together, reflecting the track's energy through bold, minimalist aesthetics.
Ahead of the official release, Nia and Jorja debuted ‘Get Me Down’ live during an exclusive event at the Código1530 Penthouse in London, giving attendees an early taste of one of the standout collaborations from the forthcoming project. The release also arrives as Nia prepares to hit the road for a six-date UK b2b tour, where she'll share the decks with the likes of Sexy Lady Massive, Clipz, Nectax, Worsleyy, Chimpo, Cheff The Boy and Janaway.
With ‘Emotional Junglist’ now just around the corner, ‘Get Me Down’ continues to build anticipation for what is shaping up to be another landmark project from one of the UK's most forward-thinking artists.
