NEW: Tee Grizzley & 42 Dugg - Detroit

Tee Grizzley keeps his foot on the gas with new single ‘Detroit’ featuring 42 Dugg. As both artists hail from Detroit, the track titles makes perfect sense. Both rappers make hard hitting music, they have built their entire brand around it, so it was great to see them both collaborating again. The last time these two were on the same track was ‘Hard Prayers’ which is what sparked their initial rap chemistry. We know that Big Sean is a massive advocate for their city, he even named one of his previous albums Detroit, now it’s time to see how Grizzley & 42 Dugg rep on this track.

Tee Grizzley kicks off the track with his relentless flow that we are so used to from him. He is able to find different pockets and even continues to rap when the drums drop out of the instrumental. “I be in the trap with old heads that’s richer than Joe Biden” he raps. 42 Dugg on the other hand, adapts a more slower flow, displaying some melodic qualities. It definitely works for Dugg as he is able to send an aggressive message with his bars, whilst still sounding smooth on the beat.
