NEW: Quavo ft. Lenny Kravitz - FLY

Quavo and Lenny Kravitz on a song together, that is certainly a collaboration we never thought we would ever see. Quavo has been featured in another crossover recently too, after he dropped ‘Tough’ with Lana Del Ray, this has been blowing up ever since and has raked in 84 million streams since its July release.

It seems like the rapper is in a different bag right now and it’s something we should sit back and enjoy. Quavo previewed the new ‘FLY’ track a few weeks ago and received a backlash of negative comments. 

The internet are calling this new record, Trap Rock and paving the way for a new genre of music. Whilst the track lacks originality and is just a cover of Lenny Kravitz hit ‘Fly Away’, it is still a special moment in Hip-Hop. For me, it’s just impressive how this has all came together, some fans won’t like the new track and I understand that. However, we need to just let art be art, if you don’t like it that’s cool but we should encourage artists to try different styles with their sound.
