NEW: Jordy ft. JME - Wonderkid

I’ve been looking forward to this release since he dropped it last year on Pink Chair Records. Finally, we have a proper release with a music video and JME feature!

Sometimes, when a song is held back like this the hype dies. It’s hard to breath life into again in the same way, especially when its original form was a freestyle. That live energy and excitement is hard to recreate. Jordy understands this and makes sure he comes with the goods. Enlisting the skills of the original wonder kid, JME.

Jordy & JME

As always JME delivers and carries on the rhyme scheme and stop start flow set by Jody. Of course he does it in a way that only JME can rhyming ‘Gunja Spliff’ with ‘Slumber Kid’ and managing to shout out the whole Adenuga Family by tying in his ‘Younger Sis’ Julie Adenuga. Jordy was definetly the originator of this rhyme pattern but JME adapts it like it were his own.

The visuals aid to the atmosphere of the song, and keeps the focus on the Wonderkid’s themselves. There’s no video girls or outlandish storylines. Just a focus on the art and the artists. It’s another solid release for Jordy, one of the UK’s most exciting talents.
