Prior to his most recent single ‘Hello Miss Johnson’, Jack Harlow had been taking a break from music. After having such a strong 2023, it surprised many fans that he has taken his foot off the gas in 2024. We are hoping that 2024 was a one off and he has plenty of new music in the pipeline. Considering he recently returned with another new single, 'Tranquility’, I am guessing this is a sign of things to come.
This new single originally came in the form of a YouTube exclusive, but is now available across all streaming outlets. The track feels like a bit of a mission statement for his mentality right now. He addresses topics like having to cancel his Kentucky festival and not searching for ‘Hip Hop credibility’. He even goes deeper to speak about when his label asked for a new record during his financial renegotiations and admits he felt he didn’t have the right record or contribution to make yet.
