DDG and Cash Cobain are two artists who can produce some heat. DDG is more focused on his hooks and flows, whereas producer Cash Cobain singles out a catchy melody or unique drum patterns. When they are both on form, the level of track they produce can be quite astonishing. On his latest release DDG jumps on a Cash Cobain instrumental for ‘Copy My Drip’.
Unfortunately this track just highlights that they were both not up to their best form, producing an underwhelming track. The beat is a very basic trap beat, with a pretty generic chorus where DDG finds himself talking about taking people girls and his designer clothing. Thankfully, there are much better offerings than this such as; ‘She Ain’t Leaving’ and ‘Shoot Up Your Block’
