Liverpool’s very own Mazza L20 has dropped his long-awaited mixtape 'Different Times', a project that cements his place as one of the UK’s most uncompromising and authentic rap voices. Arriving alongside the standout focus track 'New Money' featuring Aitch, the release captures both the hunger and maturity of an artist stepping into his prime.

Mazza L20 - Different Times

Already boasting over 150 million streams, collaborations with heavyweights like Potter Payper, and the landmark achievement of headlining an arena in his hometown, Mazza’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. But behind the success lies a story marked by duality. Mazza’s early life was framed by pain, violence, and institutionalisation - experiences that shaped his worldview but also sparked a new creative outlet. Encouraged by friends such as Northern rapper A1, Mazza began writing bars that transformed into raw freestyles and diaristic early projects, laying the foundation for the voice he has today.

On 'Different Times', Mazza blends unflinching realism with sharp delivery, offering listeners a body of work that’s both deeply personal and universally resonant. It’s a project that tells his story unapologetically, capturing where he’s been, where he is, and the man he’s becoming.

The new body of work is the sound of Mazza L20 defining himself, an artist shaped by struggle but fuelled by ambition, ready to continue his rise on the UK stage and beyond.
