High flying UK talent Loyle Carner continues to raise the bar with the release of his new self-directed music video for ‘lyin’, a powerful centrepiece from his forthcoming album 'hopefully !', set to drop on June 20th. The video, which stars Carner himself, captures the surreal intersection of dreams, memory, and personal growth.

Shot on location in Latvia, the visual is striking and intimate, rich with metaphor and emotion. It’s Carner’s second directorial effort following the acclaimed one-shot video for ‘Yesterday’, further expanding the creative universe around his music. ‘lyin’ explores the tension between inner child and adult, offering a poignant reflection on identity and self-discovery.

Alongside the video, Carner has also announced a global 'hopefully !' tour, with dates selling out rapidly - including an impressive four-night run at London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton. It’s clear the anticipation for his next chapter is at an all-time high.

With acting debuts on the horizon, and visuals that continue to deepen the emotional impact of his music, 'lyin' marks another moment of creative evolution for one of the UK’s most compelling storytellers.
