On the evening of Wednesday 15th November 2023 history was made in the second city. Birmingham's most talented, and respected artists, producers, creatives and industry professionals came together for the premiere of 'Legacy 0121', a book and documentary which explores and celebrates the history of Birmingham's Rap and Grime scene.
A lot has to be said for the role that Birmingham has played in uplifting, elevating and developing the rap game in the UK over the past 20 years, and for the first time ever the city are shouting about it in a major way. Jess Monroe, Casey Bailey, Daniel Alexander, Ryan Killeen, JDShotYou, Pharaoh Draws, the Punch Records team and many more have taken leadership of this monumental project which has brought together 0121 royalty to reflect on the legacy that has been created.
