Lahlia Cole steps into her confidence on ‘Water Dreams'

Birmingham-born singer and songwriter Lahlia Cole returns with 'Water Dreams', continuing what has already been an exciting year for the ever-evolving R&B artist.
The new single follows her 2026 releases 'Leave Me Alone Pt. 2' and 'Angel Dust', building further on the creative direction Lahlia has been carving out across the year. This time around, she delivers a confident and playful record that embraces femininity while allowing her personality to sit firmly at the centre.
Produced by longtime collaborator Reon Vanger, with additional production from Cay Caleb, 'Water Dreams' pairs Lahlia’s R&B sensibilities with a polished production that gives the track plenty of room to breathe. There is an assuredness running through the record, reflecting an artist increasingly comfortable in her own space.
Lyrically, the single explores confidence, femininity and the importance of leaving people with a positive experience of having known you. Rather than dwelling on what has been left behind, Lahlia approaches those themes with a sense of self-possession, turning the experience into something empowering.
'Water Dreams' adds another dimension to a growing catalogue that continues to showcase Lahlia’s ability to evolve without losing the qualities that make her sound distinctive. With Reon Vanger once again alongside her, the latest release also highlights the creative chemistry that has developed between the pair over time.
As 2026 continues to unfold, Lahlia Cole is proving there is plenty more to come. 'Water Dreams' arrives as another confident step forward for the Birmingham artist.
