Birmingham-raised lyricist Kofi Stone is back with brand new music for us - following a string of impressive drops including 'Child Of God Flow', 'Party Ain’t Over' and collaborative efforts alongside FloFliz. Now, he delivers a powerful double release in the form of 'Heartlands' and 'Thorns,' produced by Pitch92 and Alex Burey, with the latter featuring a soulful guest appearance from Jacob Banks.

This release marks a new level of openness from Kofi, showcasing his ability to balance intricate wordplay with raw, unfiltered emotion. Speaking on Instagram, he revealed that these tracks were born from a deeply personal chapter, written after a period of serious illness that left him hospitalised for weeks. “I always like to tell the story exactly how it is… I was unsure I’d ever release [this song] because of how exposed I felt, but I think it’s important that I share this one with you guys,” he wrote.
'Heartlands' lands with a cinematic visual directed by Christoph Davis, adding another layer of depth to the project. Both tracks underline Kofi Stone’s commitment to creating authentic, resonant music - a quality that continues to set him apart as one of the UK’s most captivating storytellers.
