KhakiKid wastes no time making his mark on the year, returning with vibrant new single ‘Favela’ while unveiling details of his forthcoming five-track EP, 'Girl Bites Dog', set for release on April 17th. The drop arrives fresh off the back of a landmark moment for the Irish alternative rapper and singer - a sold-out headline show at Dublin’s iconic 3Olympia Theatre.

Produced collaboratively by F3miii and Louis Stanley Isaac, ‘Favela’ thrives on its genre-blurring energy. The track sees KhakiKid lean into his signature unpredictability - blending alternative rap textures with soulful undertones and a playful bounce that feels both effortless and intentional.
Sharp lyricism meets an instantly infectious hook, giving the single a magnetic pull reminiscent of fan-favourite moments like ‘Date Nite,’ while still pushing his sound into fresh territory. It’s colourful, charismatic and undeniably confident.
Adding to the excitement, 'Girl Bites Dog' will feature appearances from fellow Irish talents Kojaque and Joe Butler, promising a collaborative edge to what is already shaping up to be a defining release. As his fourth project to date, the EP signals KhakiKid’s most ambitious and fully realised body of work yet.
