Kali Uchis delivers heartfelt ballad 'ILYSMIH' ahead of her upcoming album!

Last year Kali Uchis welcomed her first child with fellow artist Don Toliver and ever since the internet has been calling them ‘goals’. After recently being spotted together at Coachella, the singer has now ramped up her efforts to promote her upcoming album. Her fifth studio album ‘Sincerely’ is expected to drop soon and we finally have the second single from the project, as she drops off ‘ILYSMIH’. 

This new track marks a huge emotional turn for the artist, as she finds herself grounded in her sound and spirit. If you didn’t already know the song title is an abbreviation for ‘I Love You So Much It Hurts’ which pretty much reveals the topic of the track. It’s a luminous ballad, shaped by her experience of being a mother, this new track captures Kali in one of her most vulnerable creative spaces. Her voice sounds a lot more grounded on this one, as she sings not to impress but more to express her emotions and bare all for her fans.
