Nigerian pop-dance trailblazer Kah-Lo returns with a burst of vibrant nostalgia as she unveils the official music video for her latest single, 'Somersaults' - a track that leans into her signature charisma while marking an exciting new phase of her artistic evolution.

Rooted in the music she grew up hearing through her father, the sonic world of 'Somersaults' draws from timeless influences like Donna Summer, Shalamar, and The Whispers. That inspiration flows not only through the bounce and groove of the track, but also through the video’s creative direction - a playful yet stylish nod to the golden era of late 80s and early 90s dance-pop.

Visually, the video is a love letter to retro editing and analogue textures. The colouring, transitions and design choices bring back the charm of vintage dance-floor aesthetics, while its clean, minimalist approach keeps the focus on Kah-Lo herself.

Having carved a unique lane over the last decade - blending pop, house, club music and her unmistakable delivery - Kah-Lo has always thrived at the intersection of innovation and playfulness. 'Somersaults' is the latest reminder that she’s still pushing boundaries, still experimenting, and still in full command of her creative world.
