South London singer-songwriter JGrrey makes her return with ‘take my hand’, a heartfelt new collaboration featuring neo-soul artist Bel Cobain. The release follows her return earlier this year with 'September Daze Pt. 2,' a track that reconnected her with the neo-soul and alternative hip-hop foundations of her sound while quietly signalling the start of a new creative chapter.

This new drop sees JGrrey re-emerge with the same emotional honesty that has long defined her artistry, while gently exploring new sonic territory. Produced alongside multi-instrumentalists Harry Jowett and Harry Beech, ‘take my hand’ is built around warm, uplifting instrumentation that blends elements of alt-R&B, neo-soul, jazz and subtle hip-hop influences.
Lyrically, the single explores themes of connection, curiosity and companionship, with JGrrey’s soft, expressive delivery sitting seamlessly alongside Bel Cobain’s rich, soulful contribution - adding another layer of texture and emotional depth to the record.
With ‘take my hand’, JGrrey continues that trajectory - refined, emotionally open and evolving - setting the tone for what feels like an exciting new era ahead, with more music expected soon.
