James Blake returns with a brand new album titled ‘Trying Times’, further cementing his reputation as one of the most inventive and forward-thinking artists to emerge from the UK.
Hailing from Enfield, Blake has spent over a decade building a global presence through both his own music and collaborations with major artists across multiple genres. Widely respected for his distinctive voice and innovative production style, he continues to push creative boundaries with every new release.

His latest project, 'Trying Times', arrives as a carefully crafted 13-track body of work that showcases Blake’s full artistic range. Blending emotive songwriting with his signature experimental soundscapes, the album sees him exploring new sonic territory while staying rooted in the atmospheric style that has defined his career.
Released independently, the project reflects a period of complete creative freedom for Blake - making music on his own terms and without limitations. The result is a deeply personal and immersive record that is already resonating strongly with his global fanbase.
To support the album, Blake will take 'Trying Times' on the road later this year with a European tour running across September and October. The run of shows begins in London at O2 Academy Brixton on 29 September before travelling across Europe, eventually returning to the UK for a final show in Bristol on 28 October.
With 'Trying Times', James Blake once again demonstrates why he remains one of the most influential and respected creatives operating in modern music today.
