J Hus has surprised the UK once again, returning with a brand new three-track EP titled 'Half Clip' - a sharp, concentrated burst of energy that feels like a spiritual successor to his fan-favourite 2018 tape, 'Big Spang'. After teasing collaborations with Skepta and JAE5 earlier in the week, fans were already anticipating something big.
Still, the timing and style of this drop caught everyone off guard - a classic Hus move.

The project opens with the much-talked-about heavyweight link-up 'Outside', a track that has already begun rippling through the scene. With Skepta floating in veteran form and JAE5 delivering that signature polished grit, it’s a statement record - bold, rhythmic, and built for longevity.
Hus then switches gears with 'Banana Clip', the EP’s solo moment. It’s raw, unfiltered Hus - charismatic, unpredictable, and packed with the unique cadence and flavour that cemented him as one of the most compelling UK voices of his generation. Closing out the EP is 'Richer' featuring Nigerian star Seyi Vibez, whose melodic intensity blends seamlessly with Hus’s elastic flows.
'Half Clip' arrives during a milestone chapter for Hus. Earlier this year he signed with EMPIRE, reigniting excitement across the industry, before returning with the Asake-assisted hit 'Gold'. This EP now marks the final stamp on a significant comeback year - concentrated, confident, and full of momentum.
