Fresh off the back of a landmark sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall, UK rap royalty J Hus returns with 'Gold' - his first solo drop since the critically acclaimed 2023 album 'Beautiful and Brutal Yard'. Teaming up with Nigerian superstar Asake, this latest release signals the start of an exciting new chapter.

The collaboration was teased earlier this week when Hus tweeted that he was in the mood to release something new, and fans didn’t have to wait long. With 'Gold', he blends his signature Afro-swing style with an Amapiano-infused bounce, courtesy of production heavyweight P2J, creating a smooth-yet-energetic track.
Asake’s unmistakable vocals add an extra layer of flair, making this link-up feel effortless but impactful. It’s a sound clash of two of the diaspora’s brightest stars, capturing the energy of both London and Lagos in one seamless blend.
Alongside the single, Hus has also announced a new partnership with independent powerhouse EMPIRE - a move that suggests even more boundary-pushing moments to come. With 'Gold', he’s not just celebrating a milestone moment, he’s setting the tone for what’s next.
