Ghetts teams up with adidas & JD for Superstar celebration at 180 Studios!

adidas and JD are set to light up London this month with a special event celebrating the adidas Superstar, the timeless silhouette that has shaped music, sport, and street style for over 50 years. Taking place on Saturday 30th August at 180 Studios, the night will be headlined by UK grime legend Ghetts, bringing his unmatched energy to a one-off live performance.

The event also sees Rinse FM take over with a live cypher curated by underground archivist DaMetalMessiah, introducing the next wave of UK talent and honouring the Superstar’s long-standing connection to music culture.

Since its debut in 1969, the adidas Superstar has stood as a global icon - from basketball courts to street cyphers, its signature shell toe and clean design have been championed by legends across generations. Today, figures like Jade Thirlwall and Ghetts are keeping the legacy alive, proving the shoe’s influence is as strong as ever.

Spaces for the event are limited, with free sign-ups going live on Thursday 21st August at 7pm via Eventbrite on a first-come-first-served basis.
