EST Gee returns to his roots with new album ‘BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL’

EST Gee is back with a full-length release, delivering his new 20-track album 'BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL'.

The Louisville rapper uses the project to stay close to the style that has helped establish his name, leaning into direct storytelling, gritty observations and a controlled delivery throughout the record.

Listeners were given several previews in the lead-up to the album. 'SOMETIMES', 'CALL SPITTA', 'THUG CLUB', 'SUPREME SANDERS' and 'YA DIGG' featuring EST SkiMike all arrived ahead of the full release. Gee also brought members of his circle into the rollout, teaming up with 86Snot, EST Spit and EST4Nikk for 'YOU KNOW IT'.

Across 'BIGGER THAN THE DEVIL', Gee appears less concerned with dramatically changing his formula and more focused on sharpening what already works. His understated approach allows the details within his lyrics to carry much of the weight, giving the music the grounded feel listeners have come to associate with him. With 20 tracks to work through, the album provides plenty of space for EST Gee to expand on his perspective while remaining firmly connected to his established sound.
