West Midlands representative Dapz On The Map returns with intent on his latest release ‘Cut My Own Keys’, now elevated with a striking new music video directed by fellow West Midlands creative ReadTheTitle - adding fresh weight to an already hard-hitting drop.

Dapz On The Map & Trappy

Reconnecting with producer Avey Bredda, Dapz continues to build on a partnership that’s quickly proving to be a winning formula. Sonically, the track captures the gritty edge and unmistakable energy of the 0121 scene, pairing Dapz and Trappy's raw lyricism with a beat that hits with purpose.

The visuals take things a step further. Known for his sharp, culture-driven direction, ReadTheTitle brings a cinematic yet grounded feel to the track - amplifying its message of independence and self-made progression. The video doesn’t overcomplicate things; instead, it leans into authenticity, reflecting both the hunger and environment that shape Birmingham’s sound.

With the addition of ReadTheTitle’s visuals, ‘Cut My Own Keys’ lands as a fully realised statement. Dapz On The Map and Trappy set the tone early for 2026, reinforcing the strength and evolving identity of Birmingham’s rap and grime scene.
