Dapz On The Map makes a powerful return with his brand new 7-track project 'Match Fitness', a tightly crafted body of work that signals a renewed focus and sharpened intent from the Birmingham veteran.

After re-establishing momentum in 2025 with the well-received single ‘Esclators’, Dapz continued his resurgence earlier this year by linking up with rising 0121 talent Trappy on ‘Cut My Own Keys’. Serving as the lead single for this latest project, the track set the tone for what is a deliberate and focused return to form.

Dapz On The Map - Match Fitness

Across 'Match Fitness', Dapz leans into a stripped-back, intentional approach - working closely with long-time collaborators Avey Bredda and Swifta Beater to recapture the essence of his sound while keeping it rooted in experience and precision. The project also features a standout production contribution from JME, reinforcing the level of craft embedded throughout the release.

Rather than chasing wide-ranging features, Dapz opts for a curated selection of collaborators who match his energy and artistic chemistry.

This includes a powerful reunion with Trill Troy on a new joint effort, following their previous link-up on the ‘Hands On’ remix. Elsewhere, he reconnects with long-time ally Jaykae on ‘Winner Stays On’, which also brings in grime heavyweight P Money, adding further weight to the project’s already strong lineup. Dapz also reunites creatively with JME on ‘Moving’, continuing a collaborative relationship that dates back to their 2019 link-up on ‘Off To Work’ from 'Champion Settings'.

With 'Match Fitness', Dapz On The Map delivers a project that feels purposeful and disciplined - reasserting his position in the scene while reminding listeners of the consistency and craft that has long defined his career.
