After a massive 2024 that saw 'Almighty So 2' dominate end-of-year lists, Chief Keef is back with a surprise summer drop, and it comes with a bit of history. His new single 'Shake Dat', produced by Mustard, has the kind of bass-heavy, hypnotic bounce tailor-made for the strip club, but its origins go back nearly five years.

Die-hard fans may recognise it as an unreleased 'Yandhi' era track, originally recorded with Kanye West under the working title 'Jam 15'. That early version, produced by Timbaland and Mustard, played more like a freestyle with no hook. For 2025, Keef has reworked it into a polished club anthem, adding a chorus that perfectly locks in with his verse and the track’s slick, late-night energy.
Following his chart-topping project and a joint tape with Mike WiLL Made-It, this is Chief Keef’s first drop in months, and a welcome reminder that Sosa always has a few gems tucked away for the right moment.
Check out 'Shake Dat' below, and keep your eyes peeled for more moves from Chief Keef.
