After years of build-up, 'Star Line Gallery' - Chance The Rapper’s long-awaited next album - still doesn’t have a release date. Fans have been holding out hope since 'The Big Day' dropped back in 2019, and while that project didn’t land the way Chance intended, his latest moves suggest a strong return is on the horizon.
The newest sign of life? A vibrant new single called 'Tree' featuring heavy hitters Lil Wayne and Smino. The track is stamped with a 'Star Line Production' label, fuelling speculation that it will appear on the final album.

Sonically, 'Tree' feels like classic Chance: bright, soulful, and brimming with positivity. His verses feel more self-assured, as if he’s found his groove again. Lil Wayne and Smino add their own unique flair, keeping the energy playful and rhythmic throughout. It’s the kind of song that belongs on summer playlists - no doubt about that.
While 'Star Line Gallery' is still a mystery, 'Tree' is a refreshing reminder that Chance hasn’t lost his touch and that something special may be just around the corner.
