CARI embraces the lighter side of love on ‘Baaad!’

UK alternative R&B artist CARI returns with 'Baaad!', a playful new single created alongside producers PRGRSHN and Steph FM that sees her explore a lighter side of her sound.

Known for the more introspective and heartbreak-driven moments within her catalogue, CARI takes a different approach on 'Baaad!'. The track captures the weightless feeling of falling in love, allowing her to embrace the excitement and playfulness that comes with being caught up in someone.

That change in perspective is reflected in the music itself. 'Baaad!' feels loose and uninhibited, with CARI allowing the production to carry a sense of freedom that mirrors the emotions at its centre. Rather than overcomplicating the feeling, she leans into its lighter moments while continuing to experiment with the boundaries of her sound.

The release arrives after a busy period for CARI, including appearances during London Fashion Week. She attended the DAZED x Penhaligon's opening launch party, as well as Charlie Constantinou's show, continuing to build a presence across both music and fashion.
