Blaqbonez returns with 'Ikebe 3000', reuniting with longtime friend and collaborator Asake while announcing his forthcoming album 'Nomadinho: 4th Prime', due 16th October.

The release follows their summer collaboration 'Chanel', which reached No. 5 on Billboard's Afrobeats chart. Their latest link-up takes a different route, moving into darker territory while retaining the playful chemistry that made their previous collaboration connect.

The title itself sets the tone. 'Ikebe' is a colloquial Nigerian expression referring to the backside, and the track leans into the playful and suggestive language that has long been part of Nigerian pop culture. Blaqbonez and Asake build on that foundation with a record centred around flirtation, attraction and desire.

Their chemistry remains at the heart of the track, with both artists bringing their own approaches to a collaboration that feels distinct from 'Chanel'. The darker production gives them a different backdrop to work with, allowing the pair to explore another side of their musical relationship.

Following the success of 'Chanel', Blaqbonez and Asake reconnect once again, this time with something more provocative and nocturnal. 'Ikebe 3000' sets the tone for the next stage of Blaqbonez's run while leaving plenty more to discover on 'Nomadinho: 4th Prime'.
