BigXthaPlug takes his boldest creative leap yet with 'I Hope You’re Happy', a project that marks his first full dive into the fusion of country and Southern hip-hop. While he’s hinted at these influences before, this release plants him firmly in the lane, bringing country sounds and collaborators to the forefront of his music.

The album features a heavyweight lineup of guest appearances, including Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and Shaboozey, each adding a unique spin to X’s vision. Originally planned as a shorter EP, the Dallas rapper expanded the tracklist to 11 songs after being inspired in the studio, transforming it into his third full-length project.
Highlights include 'All The Way' with Bailey Zimmerman, a polished breakup anthem that leans into the commercial country space, while other tracks stretch the boundaries of what happens when twang meets trap. Even when the writing doesn’t always dig deep, the adventurous mix of styles makes this BigX’s most daring body of work to date.
