Bawo links up with Scorcher & JME for new single ‘Shelloff’ and announces ‘Surf’s Up’ EP!

Bawo is back with a serious statement of intent, linking up with grime veterans Scorcher and JME for his brand new single ‘Shelloff’.

Built around impactful samples, captivating drums and a heavy bassline, the track wastes no time in setting the tone. Bawo leads the charge before handing the mic over to two of North London’s most respected voices, with Scorcher and JME bringing their own unmistakable energy to the record.

There’s an undeniable throwback quality to ‘Shelloff’, tapping into the raw, competitive spirit that has always sat at the heart of grime while still feeling firmly rooted in Bawo’s world. Each MC brings their own flavour to the track, creating a three-way exchange that feels effortless but packs plenty of weight.

The collaboration is brought to life with an equally playful official video, which sees Bawo and Scorcher stepping into the roles of talent show judges. Surrounded by a cast of increasingly eccentric hopefuls, the pair are tasked with scoring a selection of off-the-wall performances, adding a dose of humour to an otherwise heavyweight link-up.

‘Shelloff’ also arrives with bigger news for Bawo, as he announces his forthcoming EP ‘Surf’s Up’, set for release on September 25th.
