Detroit’s Babyface Ray continues to cement his place as one of the city’s most consistent voices, showcasing over a decade of growth with his latest release, 'Codeine Cowboy'. The new double-disc album spans 19 tracks and arrives featuring guest appearances from Veeze, YTB Fatt, Sauce Walka, LUCKI, and Lil Yachty.

His ear for production is sharper than ever - across both discs, there’s hardly a missed beat. The production team adds a more artistic, textured flair, helping Codeine Cowboy stand out from the flood of trap-heavy releases. Midway through the album, after track 12, Ray switches gears into a smoother, R&B-inspired direction, adding depth and variety to a project that already shows his versatility.

Known for his laid-back, conversational delivery, Ray blends his signature Detroit style with a hazy Southern influence on this project. The result is an intoxicating listen that feels both familiar and fresh.
