Alex Iwobi continues to balance life on and off the pitch, returning to music under his artist moniker 17 with brand new single ‘Track 0’. The release serves as the first offering from his upcoming EP 'More To Life', giving fans an early glimpse into the creative direction of the nine-track project, set to drop on April 9.
On ‘Track 0’, 17 leans into his signature opulent rap style, delivering composed and confident bars that reflect on success, growth and fresh beginnings. There’s a sense of gratitude woven throughout the track, as he acknowledges both his journey and the dual paths he continues to navigate across football and music.

Production comes from EM1X, who lays down a polished backdrop that allows Iwobi’s delivery to sit front and centre. The instrumental complements his calm, assured tone, creating a track that feels both reflective and self-assured.
Looking ahead, 'More To Life' promises to further explore 17’s identity as an artist. Drawing from his Nigerian heritage, the project is set to incorporate strong Afrowave influences, with appearances from artists including Fido and Amadou Onana, another Premier League footballer stepping into the music space.
With ‘Track 0’, Alex Iwobi sets the tone for a project that looks to go beyond expectations, carving out a unique lane where sport, culture and music intersect.
