Seven years after the release of his acclaimed debut album ‘Memories’, Nottingham singer-songwriter Ady Suleiman makes a long-awaited return with his sophomore LP ‘Chasing’ - a deeply personal body of work that captures the emotional and physical realities of the years between projects. Touching on themes of romance, self-reflection, healing and the lasting impact of the pandemic, ‘Chasing’ feels both timely and timeless.

Written, recorded and mastered across London and Zanzibar, the album reflects Ady’s global journey and evolving perspective. The project features contributions from Birmingham rapper Kofi Stone, Nottingham poet and rapper Jah Digga, alongside production from heavyweight collaborator Miles Clinton James. Together, they help shape a sound that feels expansive, soulful and rooted in authenticity.

At its core, Chasing is a breath of fresh air. Ady openly explores self-worth, accountability, resilience, community and hope, creating a body of work that feels honest and emotionally grounded. During his time away from the spotlight, Ady spent six months living across Zanzibar and Kenya, reconnecting with his Swahili ancestry - an experience that deeply informs the spiritual and cultural undertones of the album.

Following his return last year, Ady began setting the tone for this new era with a strong run of singles including ‘Miracle’, ‘Never Meant To Hurt You’ featuring Kofi Stone, ‘Brother’, and most recently ‘What If’. Each release offered a glimpse into the emotional depth and sonic direction of ‘Chasing’.

The project represents a reintroduction to Ady Suleiman as both an artist and a storyteller. It’s an intimate journey through love, identity, mental health and heritage - a statement of growth, reflection and renewed creative purpose.
